This campaign follows the uniquely talented artist Jane Mackay as she explains how she paints “music”.  Jane has a condition known as Synesthesia – she see’s colour in music, sound or any audible vibrations. Jane has painted everything from her cat’s meows to beautiful birdsong. Photowall approached Jane with a request for a series of works based upon classical interpretations of modern music. The canvas print collection features four designs from versions of Nirvana – Smells Like Teen Spirit, Beyoncé – Halo, and La Roux – Bulletproof.

We shot the interview, B-roll, marketing and PR photoshoot, as well as product and canvas photography in one day, in Jane’s London based art studio. The edit, post-production and distribution of all edits / paid trailers, and imagery were created within a 4 day edit.

All content was shot on dual Sony A7S ii camera’s, with Canon Prime lens.

The collection and interviews are available here, or to buy in print & canvas over on the Photowall.com website.
